1. How were you introduced to the Artpreneur Program?
I was in a constant search for doing something related to art and to learn the tools. I did my basic research of where I can learn a proper art course. I came across different courses but then artpreneur got my eyes because of the structure and outright explanation of the program made me very curious. That’s how I reached out to the Artpreneur program and they explained me the entire process neatly which further stirred my curiosity and made me opt for this specific program.

2. What was the purpose of joining the Program?
Something inspired me to go towards visual side of marketing as I was previously working as a digital marketer. Conveying things visually sounded more exciting for me and didn’t sound montonous. I first started with self learning about the tools through the free tutorials available online. But I wasn’t fully invested in it, the major reason to join a course was for me to get fully invested and to explore more about the field. I am grateful to have chosen Artpreneur.

3. Since you were already into Social Media Marketing, what kind of skill were you looking forward to upgrading through the Program?
As mentioned before, I wanted to creatively convey things through visual.
Before joining the program I didn’t know visual storytelling was my forte. I was hoping that once I complete the program I would be able to convey my thoughts, ideologies, and my mental environment through a visual treat. I am happy that even before the end of the course I was able to do it and accomplish my goal.

4. Your interests were more in Entrepreneurship. What do you do now?
I am a part time freelancer and I work with an advertising agency based out of Chennai. I have plans for my future to start a full time clothing line with respect to art that I have learnt.

5. What is your plan for the next five years going forward?
Five years from now, I can visualize myself as a successful motion and static designer. In my current stint, I am exploring a lot with respect to animation and motion graphics, and it excites my soul.
I manifest for me to work with animation companies like Mappa, TOEI. That’s going to be a long journey for me to reach there. I hope my manifestation comes true.

6. What is the one takeaway from the Artpreneur Program for your life apart from the technical skills?
Biggest takeaway for me is that to stay committed and to never stop learning everyday. Showing up everyday to a course made me disciplined (I am trying my 100%). Artpreneur taught me to never give up and there are people to support you no matter what. Like Professor Dumbledore says “Help will be always provided by hogwards for those who seeks it.” Balaji sir is the Dumbledore with respect to Artpreneur.

7. Did you face any challenges during the Program? How did you endeavour to get out of it? Sharing your journey will help others to get over the same challenges.
To be honest staying up committed like 100% was really hard for me when everything about my personal life was rocky. But somehow, I rose above the challenges with the support from my tutor Anish and Balaji sir, and definitely my teammates Anisha, Janki, and Ranjana, who stood thick and thin throughout. I am very, very grateful, and words cannot even summarize my gratitude towards the community that Balaji sir has built with blood, sweat, and tears. Like I said before, Help and support throughout will always be provided.
8. How was your collaboration with your educator & mentor during and after the Program?
Gratitude is the one word comes to my mind when I think about my educator Anish and Mentor Balaji sir.
My journey with Artpreneur program has been nothing but a beautiful story. Even after the program, I am being mentored by both of them and I am extremely blessed to have them in my life. Learning a lot from both of them.

9. How likely are you to recommend the Artpreneur program to a creative who aspires to become a freelancer or an entrepreneur?
I would strongly recommend Artpreneur to everyone who’s stuck in their life, to those who seek a different level of enlightenment, to those who are explorative, and to those who want to outgrow themselves.
It is a tough ride, but at the end of it, you’ll see the beautiful snow-capped mountain with the enchanting aurora borealis of life spreading throughout.
